Hello, fellow 1979 MHS classmates,

Wow, what a Reunion weekend! To those who were able to come, I hope you had as much fun attending as we did organizing it. From Scott Able’s video message, to the custom photo name badges made by Jana (DeLuca) Zerpoli, to the teachers’ table, the rocking dance floor, and then the more intimate conversations at the Sunday Brunch, plus Henry Junsay’s Bread Pudding, the weekend was a blast!

It was truly a reunion to remember!

On behalf of the entire Reunion Committee, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who attended. The enthusiasm and energy of all truly made this such a special occasion!  Once again, thank you for showing up and bringing the love to Monterey High Class of 1979. I have always said, as long as you keep coming, we will keep having them!

To keep these special vibes going, and to share with those who did not attend, we are asking you to send your photos so that they can be placed on the “Memories” page of our website. Send photos to Jeff@montereyhigh79.com. Please try to include captions and/or names of those in photos (if you can) to help us identify our classmates and groups! Also try to avoid duplicates and send no more than a dozen images per email, but send as many emails as you like.

As time goes on, reaching all of our classmates becomes more challenging. If everyone gave us contact information for 3-4 people that they are still in touch with, this could help us reach more classmates with Reunion Announcements. So, forward those contacts to Jeff as well! Please let us know If you would like to help find missing classmates.

Thanks again for being part of this incredible class. We can't wait to see you again in five years for our milestone 50th Reunion Celebration, an event we will start planning next year to make our 50th even more memorable than this one. Many of you have expressed interest in helping with our 50th and we welcome the help! So, you would-be planners, be on the lookout for an email in early 2025 when we will begin creating Monterey High Class of 1979 50-year Reunion 2029!
